The fuel and return lines on my 75 have been pinched real badly at the front of the frame rail. Not leaking but it sure looks like a potential fuel restriction. Is it possible to replace the hard lines from the tank to pump with the body on the frame or, am I looking at a hard line repair? Thanks for the tips and advice.

FWIW I ran a fuel line for my TPI with the body on but it was not in the exact stock location and am doing the brake lines now my car is a driver not a show car. I guess its one of those things that if you have to do it you can but is much easier with the body off the frame.

My suggestion if you do it with the body on...I replaced my return line (I know 75 and 84 are different, but the concept is the same) with copper line used for installing the line in the back of a refrigerator for the ice maker. Its soft enough to bend without kinking if you do it slowly and use the proper tools. Just my 2 cents.

I'd keep an eye on any copper line that has fuel in it under pressure; copper will work-harden with vibration and eventually fracture. :eyerole

Thanks for the feedback. Since the body is still on for now, the consensus seems to be to repair the damaged section. I'll keep that option open until I receive a quote from Classic Tube for custom cut tubes. Replacing these lines with full length tubes without removing the body must be a real pain.
I sure appreciate the advice.
