Fuel tank sending unit

Does anyone know if you can get a kit or something to rebuild the sending unit? It does'nt look hard to do if you had the part's. Thank's alot

When I first read your question I thought to myself "why would anyone rebuild it, a new one is only about $75" then I realized that's true for my vette but yours is $250:eek!

What is wrong with yours? Is the strainer all gunked up or has the whole thing just given up?

I've never seen or heard of a sending unit rebuild kit and none appear in the catalogs I have on hand.
