What he said....you need to fill the tank to keep the uncovered portion from rusting. While driving the car, gasoline is splashed over the surface of everthing in the tank, but if allowed to sit the moisture in the system will begin to oxidize the surface of the inside of the tank, pump, etc.photovette said:Add fuel stabilizer then fill the tank. It won't make much difference if the car is kept at constant temperature and low humidity. These conditions will minimise condensation and is how I store my toys..vetteboy86 said:Is their actual documented data that supports this theory.
