I smell gas fumes. I notice it most after a drive just as I am getting out of the car. It does not appear to be coming from the engine area but seems strong from under the car. I have replaced the gas cap and there are no visible signs of fuel leaking.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Carefully inspect the hoses connecting the EVAP canister to the fuel tank, those vapor hoses are a frequent source of such fuel odors.

Do you fill the tank to the top, and then add MORE?

If you do, gas (liquid) can get through the EVAP tube that TT6 referred to, and accumulate in the charcoal EVAP cannister, which is designed to hold only vapors.

Thanks - I stop when it first clicks off.
