Gas Tank Capacity

There was a thread here a while back about gas tank capacity. The concensus seemed to be that for an '81 it's 20 to 25 gallons.

Anyone know if the same is true on the '73? 20 gallons plus?

It's in the "specifications" section in your owner's manual.

73... my74 is 18 gallons, i believe. i will double check that later tonight.

Yes, it is 18 gallons. Confirmed via both 73 owners manual and 73 shop manual.
