Yesterday I changed the sending unit in my '60's gas tank. I was amazed at how many different screws were holding down the access cover down in the well in the convertible top storage area that covers the gas tank. I've read in one of the mags that since these covers screw right into fiberglas that it's to be expected so I know someone has been in there before. Nonetheless, I don't know why they were in there and I'm curious about the tank. It looks great with no apparent rust inside so I'm guessing it's been replaced. Does anybody recognize this logo that I found on top of the tank? Does it tell me if the tank is original or a replacement?
