it's just that, we're putting the new cover sheets on all the TPS reports now....

and vinny, keep in mind that any old fuel can pre-detonate and cause sever engine damage... the mixture, although not an ideal gas, follows PV=mRT... an increase in pressure (like in high compression engines) yields a proportinal increase in temperature.. the fuel can begin burning before it is supposed to - the colliding flame fronts (one caused by the spark and one by this pre-ignition) causes temperatures in the combustion chamber to sky rocket.... you can melt a piston this way, or possibly just burn a hole through it...
true, a retarded spark will cause reduced performance, but this is not ordinary knock i am talking about here.... for reals, i think sticking with the manufacturer's recommended fuel fill is best...
