What is the best product to put on door gaskets, etc. to protect them and keep in good shape? We all know that this is a big problem for older cars, my gaskets on my 89 convertavle are in great shape and I want them to stay that way.

While I had my 94 I used dielectric grease...which is what my FSM said to use.

Currently I use Adams Polishes VRT (Vinyl, Rubber and Tire treament) which works great as well and doesn't leave the greasy film that the dielectric grease left on the windows...or clothes if you rubbed against it.

I think you'll like it...works good on the dash, tires, window seals... anything vinyl or rubber.
