I am replacing the fuel injectors and will be into reassembly in the next few days. When I took the plenum, runners, and thermostat off it didn't look like they used gasket sealers. Do I need gasket sealer if I use replacement gaskets from Ecklers.

Thanks.

You shouldn't need any!:thumb

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. :)

I can't believe somebody used gasket sealer instead of the gaskets?????

Make sure to replace upper and lower plenum gaskets and throttle body gasket. Also all the injector o'rings...no exceptions!!!

The new injectors should have the new o'rings, but just in case they don't, I thought I'd mention that.

While you're in there, how is the EGR valve...now is the time. Check ALL vacuum hoses for any cracks, replace as needed.
