After cruising an hour or so, I get intermittent whiffs of gasoline odor. Last time when I got home, I sniffed around and found it was originating at the gas cap. I know it is supposed to hold pressure and it seems to do that, as evidenced by the release of pressure when I open it at fill-up time.
But, does the gasoline odor mean the cap is going bad, or is this a normal occurence experienced by all?
Thanks!!
