does anyone have any ideas or info on good ways to jack up and
get under the c4. i have read all the info on kwiklift and easylift, they both look good. However by the time you do the currency conversion to canadian dollars plus the shipping, you are easily looking at more than doubling the cost. if nothing better comes along I may end up going that route, but i would like to explore all my options first. does anybody know of any good low lift dealers in Canada? is there a very high jack stand that is on the market that might work? {20 to 24 inches} or are there any plans out there that can be obtained on the inter-net to build a good lift? any help would be greatly appreciated.:

As for Jackstands as long as they have the triangular lock to prevent the shaft from slipping or acidental handle release they will be fine.

Snap on and Eagle also make a top notch lift but Ken's find at the top is the best bang for buck lift Ive seen yet.

Make sure when using the twin post lift OR jack stand you use the lifting mounts under your fenders and rear quarter panels. They wil be punch steel and somewhat flat. (Slightly concave). If you lift by the floor you will hear an unpleasant Snap Crackle Pop sound.---> This is your Fibreglass this is your fibreglass on drugs any questions?

BTW Im from Edmonton where are you?! Perhaps we can do a run sometime over lunch.

I forget the exact measurement for jackstands but Im 6'2 255lbs (Corvettes not a car Corvettes a Buggy!) Lol and I fit underneath the car without real issue. (Using a creeper is a little difficult)

If after your conversions are done and your over 6000 bucks (CND) Snap On will cut you a deal for less than that.
