'glass repair

HELLO, i have a small chip damage on the lip of a front fender. my question is; what's a good ,simple way to repair the problem.it is no bigger than an 1/8th inch.and not deep ,but very noticable.
also, i don't want this damage to spread upwards into the fender structure.
