Glass T-Tops

Recently purchased a set of Glass T-Tops fom Melrose in Ill. They are for my 73. I was told they would fit with a few modifications. I am having trouble making them fit. I can not get the rear pins that slide out when you close the lever.
Does anyone have a 73 with the glass tops. and how did you get them to fit.

HELP.

Did this swap about 20 yrs ago on my '77. I installed '78 glass tops. In '78 they changed from the rear clamp to a pin that extends out the rear of the t-top. You need to get the reciever plate from a '78 that accepts the pin and swap it out with the guide plate that's there origanaly. hope this helps!
