Glass Top Crack Repair?

Does anyone know if a crack can be repaired on C-5 Glass top?
I'm considering buying a used top with a crack.

Now I'll have to see what a new piece of glass would cost and determine if it would be worth the expense!

I agree that the Clear part is useless!

Check with West Coast Corvettes. They have a replacement for half the price of an OEM through GM. You send them you old top and they use the frame as a core provided it is straight and undamaged. They replace the lexan with a new piece and ship it back to you. That is what I would do or keep looking and hope you can find another CAC member who wants to sell one. Check Corvetteforum.com as well.
