Looking for some advice. I found a glass top for my 92 for a decent price. But... the top looks like either water spots or etching, or possible crazing on the the outside surface. I'm interested in purchasing it, but don't want something that can't be rubbed out. I have a micro mesh kit to rub out plexiglas aircraft windows. Any experience with this problem? Opinions would be welcomed.

I don't know the answer to this, but... I have found a number of those glass tops on e-bay too that are reasonably priced. You could look there.

Hi Sunstroke, I posted pics last night in this forum of a refurbishment I did to my targa acrylic top this past weekend. The description of the top you are looking at sounds like my before pics. I was all set to toss my top and pick up a new one. I was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out after a little elbow grease.:beer
