GM CEO Fritz Henderson.. . gone !

I'm stting here listening to the news, and they just had a spot that GM's Current CEO, Fritz Henderson is stepping down, and the next guy in line is Ed Witaker. ( if I got his name spelled right) but their not sure he'll be the next CEO. This is crazy, swapping out CEO's like changing sport jackets ! ;help

GM CEO Fritz Henderson to Step Down

DETROIT (TheStreet) -- Frederick "Fritz" Henderson will be stepping down as the CEO of GM. GM Chairman Ed Whitacre will be the interim CEO.

Henderson has been on the job for less than a year, but was in that short time with GM as it was heading into bankruptcy, saw the company through its bankruptcy, and out of bankruptcy.

Some observers are speculating that Henderson's resignation may have to with board members thinking that he wasn't moving his vision for the company fast enough.
