Hope someone can help. I just got these GM (AC Delco) cross-drilled and slotted rotors today and was very surprised when I opened the box by the way they looked--very dirty, smeary, etc. Are they supposed to look like that? I was assuming they would be similar in appearance to the stock rotors on my 2003 Corvette, only with the cross-drilling. Is there something I can use to clean/polish them before I have them put on the car--or am I missing something here? Any help would be appreciated.

Judy

Hey Judy, They are most likely covered with anti-rust coating. Pick up a can of brake clean and spray them down with that. then blow dry or wipe them down. I always paint the areas of the rotors where the pads dont touch!!!! they will stay lookin good for a long time!!!! Good Luck & WELCOME!!!!!!!! Paul:D
