Gold Emblems

I have gold plated emblems on my hood and on the gas filler door...what is the best way to take care of them?????

You can buy the gas filler door and hood emblem that are gold plated. I think this is what he has.
I just bought the gold letters for the bumper.

Ecklers or Mid America sell them.

Not sure what to do different to keep them up?
I would guess to wash and wax them by had just don't use one of those clean and wax deals.

I was advised by Design Specialties out of Bowling Green that, it is not wise to use wax type products on gold plated items. Windex is the only product that should be used on gold.
I just purchased some letters and emblems but did not receive them yet, so I have no experience with the Windex.
