So when I reassembled the throttle linkage on the 2 secondary carbs ,I followed my service manual to a T.It told me to install the rear linkage 1/2 the rod diameter short of going into the hole on the carb. When I did that , it caused the butterfly to open slightly, causing it to suck air,and run like crap.
After readjusting linkage so it just slid into its holes w/ no pressure on butterflies,it ran beautifully.
Unless I missread the manual,I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Can't wait for a nice day now to get it out.

Barry, were did your get your water temp guage you showed in your pics.
(had to copy your title-it was good timing !!! Jim

Jim
you mean my IR Temp gun I use to check temps with?

I got it at my local NAPA store but various places sell them. They run between $79-$99 depending where you get it and if it's on sale
