Guess I will take this opportunity to tell all of you I finally sold the LT4. Kind of broke my heart, but as they say I think it was for the best. Actually I sold it back to the dealer (for a small loss) then bought a 35th Edition 88 for a lot less cash. The 88 is not perfect, and it is sure not an LT-4, but with a lot less invested I feel it is something I can afford to have as a hobby. I always felt a bit guilty when I saw the LT-4 sitting idle under the car cover. Perhaps if I had a "real" Grand Sport, I might have felt it was worth the additional money.
Although the 88 seems to have a few gremlins it seems to be just about right for an older car. It does appear to have a few enhancements under the hood as well. K&N Filter, Accel Ignition, aftermarket Alpine Sound System.
Strangely enough I have been told the 35th Anniversy car will appreciate at 3% pre year, while the LT-4 would depreciate at 13% per year.
Anyway, I am grateful for all the help with the questions I had when I first joined CAC
So, I will probably check in every so often to see what I am missing. Meantime I will drift off to the ordinary C4 side of things.
Thanks again for all your help...
