Sorry you had a bad experience with the '98. My 02 C5 is one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned, and I tend to "get on it" harder than any car I've ever owned. Much more reliable that the Camaro's and Trans Ams I've had in the past. I also ran a '97 Mustang Cobra for awhile and it was both reliable and fast, even after having been heavily modifed (supercharger, throttle body, mass air flow, exhaust, etc). Go figure.

I haven't had too many problems with my 1997. I think it is a roll of the dice. Some cars get slapped with a "genetic" problem-- a string of off-spec parts that so happen to get assembled together... and make up YOUR car. Ouch. It is like getting all the number two parts on what should be a number one car.

Okay i have to admit: I do like vettes but i'm still going to respect other cars the same as i would a vette! That is why i ended my mind battle with either buying a scion or old 84 vette when i drive at 16!

With all due respect...use a capital V when typing Vette....thanks;LOL

Sorry but when people are in a hurry they tend to forget the little things
