Got My 69 on the road

Hi All

Just a word of thanks to all of you for the help you gave me to get my 69 running and on the road. Whew took a lot of work and hours but it is finally running i got 1 last thing ( tranny being rebuilt ) and then i can go out on a short trip ( got bugs to work out i am sure ) .....Actually only took me 2 months to get car back in shape from the frame up. Never would have made it if you people had not been so helpful Again thanks all....I hope pic came out on my profile ok I wasnt sure if it would

I remember when...

Sparky, it was great to see your good news post about the 69's
revival. Glad to hear that it's up and running. Your post reminded of 1969 when a guy that I was working with bought a brand new 69 vette. He took me for a ride (a special ride), I was very impressed and determined in my mind that some day..... Well, since then I've owned a few myself and am currently driving a 2002 convertible. What a car!

Im really looking forward to driving the car. wife did not understand why i wanted to rebuild this one when i could have bought a new vette ( hehe that could be down the road lol ) think im hitting my second childhood Kids all gone out of house and can finally enjoy a few things in life. Still got a lot of things to do to car i cant seem to get happy with way it is ( looks great a fantastic car ) i am nitpicking it now just want it to be as close to perfect as i can
