Grand Sport Wheels on a 1996

has anyone tried to put the GS wheel on their 1996? I'm going to give it a try so i can get the 315/35's on. Will also move the rear wheels to the front to match the GS set up with 275 up front.

would like to hear this works before I give it a try the hard way.

the GS wheels are a perfect match for 88+ C4's in Offset. They will fit no prob. and the reason why the GS's have "flares" was a little "roostertail" could be seen in the rain but only slightly...
I know a few folks that use GS offsets on 17x11's w/ out the flares - no prob.

Just buy a set from AFS and get them in silver to begin with.

wow, the wheels and tires look great. those things are so fat i can't believe it. i can't wait. wheel painting started today. should be done by mid week. will post a pic when complete.

the didn't want AFS wheels. direct from the factory is the way to go and i've seen the painting of these wheels before. you won't even be able to tell something is different...a real sleeper!!!

Got em on my '88 with flares. tire stick out enough that it kicked water and dirt all over. Plus I like the look of flares, hadn't seen anyone else do them on the early C4 when I did 2 years ago.

Got chromies on mine and love them. Looks sweet from the back with the big meats on there.
