It has a lot of exhaust holes in each head. I guess my headers
won't fit, dang.

Its too small, needs 3x the cubes and then it would really be something (LOL). Perhaps I could stick it in my 65 Chevy II as is.

Best regards,
Gerry

Gee, do you think I could squeeze that into our Toyota 4Runner? It's a nice truck but severly lacking in power. I figure this motor could give it a nice little boost
;LOL

That thing is tiny, only 214 cubes. I say go for it. How much do they want that mighty mouse? Can you say small fortune??:eyerole

Gerry

well, let see now........
lets look at another high performance motor such as the new LS-7 motor and compare.
Price on the new LS-7 as a crate motor is approx. $15,000 (give or take right??) and it's a 427ci so that works out to about $35.13/ci. A ZZ502 crate motor is approx $12,000 and that works out to approx $23.90/ci.
So........ for arguments sake lets just take the higher of the two figures and go with the $35.13/ci
This motor is only 214ci so that equates to a price of only $7517.82.
That's not too bad really - fairly reasonable price for a high performance motor even if it is small.
I'd hate to "admit" I only had a 214ci motor in the Vette, but for the Toyota 4runner that wouldn't be too bad. Should help increase it's towing capacity some at least.

Hmmmm, I may need to have new motor mounts fabricated though..........

;LOL ;LOL ;LOL

You don't have to mention the size. Just tell them about the 560hp@8000 rpm and 421 lbs of torque. Not bad for about 3 liters. No other Corvette would sound like that.

And it bolts up to a standard bellhousing... :_rock

Falconer also makes an 800hp V-12 small-block Chevy that runs on pump gas:

I go to their site to drool occasionally. I saw one in a C4 at Bloomington (in Bloomington) . It was impressive. I don't know where I'd find that 8.8 extra inches in the '59.
