I don´t have any problems with the car, only a code 32 wich I am trying to narrow down to either a vacuum leak or egr. I had a shop put in a new (ac delco) egr valve that came with the car when I bought it from the prev. owner (he probably got tired of the number 32), but that did not fix it. Checked the vac lines (the tiny ones and the thick ones on either side) no cracks, blew through them with the other end tapped. No leaks. One thing I have never read here or on any other forum is the two rubber grommets that sit on/in the valve covers. I took of the pcv valve to check for clicking (wich it did) I noticed that the valve sat very loose in the grommet. Can that cause a vacuum leak?

Mine were loose on my 1989 and I never saw a code 32. Parts are still available from the GM dealership, and in many of the corvette catalogs. I replaced both sides, and found it a 5 minute job.

My code 32 comes up every now and then, mostly when I have driven the car for 15 min or when I go over 60 mph. Not all the time, it can stay off for a day and then come back the next. Must be vacuum leak or EGR but since I have changed the EGR I start to believe it must be a vacuum leak. Question is where. Checked the torx bolts on the right side intake and one was loose so took care of that but now I´m out of options here, maybe it´s time to give Gordon Killebrew a call...
