I'm a retired pilot who has loved older car and road racing for all of my 78 years. I currently own a 72 Porsche 911, I've owned it for 20+ years and have upgraded/modified everything, then a 1993 Classic Mini cooper, slightly upgraded and a 65 Corvette roadster.
I've had the corvette for 5 years and so far cannot find another like it in the U.S. It has a 1957 Chrysler 392 engine with dual Carter AFB's, originally a Chrysler 4 spd, which I have replaced with a TREMEC 5spd, a Chrysler 8.75" solid limited slip rearend, after market rear disc brakes, 4 link rear suspension and Coil over shocks. The car was repainted with the colors of the race corvette I campaigned with back in the 70's and a little (three fingers) rear spoiler.
