Welcome to the CAC

Check that the choke is closing all the way when cold on the first pump. Also check that you are getting a strong squirt out of the accelerator pump, plugs are clean and gapped right, points are in good condition and dwell and timing are set right. Check condition of the plug wires and that you have a good strong spark at the plug. A weak spark could be a weak coil.

First of all welcome aboard we're glad you've joined us :happyanim: On you problem does this 327 have a Carter AFB carburetor; or what make is it? Sounds for sure like you have a choke problem if this problem is when it's cold only ;shrug if it is burning rich or lean you may have a float problem too. Again if it's just when it's cold would contend a choke problem, assume this is automatic choke not a manual?

The 365 should have a 4150 Holley number R2818A. If there is no hesitation when you hit the gas the accelerator pump diaphragm is most likely ok. How does it drive warmed up?

Tom that would be a single line single pump too; would it not? Then did the 327/375HP just for fuel injection?

Yep single feed. 375 was FI.

Tom

thanks
