I'm hardwiring a V1 into a '95 convertible. I used an extended mirror bolt from Eckler's (part 41897) with a bracket that I made to work with the V1 visor clip (minus the clip itself). Ran the wiring behind the windshield and left pillar molding to the fuse access panel. So far, so good.:)

Thought I would hook into the back of the fuse panel, but how do you get to it? Removed the access door and the surround ( 3 Torx screws). Then what?:confused

Thanks!

I thought the same thing.
Never did get behind there?

I ended up dropping the sun visor down and tapped into the wiring for the vanity mirror since it is a switch hot lead. This way you only need a couple feet of wire and don't have to tear the whole car apart.
