Has anyone used these mufflers?

I'm looking for a better alternative to the hooker glaspacks in my 4" sidepipes. I know a lot of people like the spiral baffles, but to me, the price seems out of line. Has anyone tried the vortex insert cones? They seem like a good idea that might work, but then again it might just be a gimmick. Thanks, Classic
