I have used this stuff w/ great results (and the stuff smells great too ;) ) VERY high gloss - I know a lot of folks swear by polymers (the "Z" products) but I tell you - this stuff is great!

Comes in different "properties" for different paint types - Hope this helps :m

ZYMOL

Well I have used that wax as well as a slew of others from Zymol They are based in CT. The best value you can get from them is their sample pack it runs around 100 bucks and you get their concours wax destiny wax and I believe their carbon for dark colored cars or japon or creme wax based on car color . I know beverly hills motoring accessories carried that wax

Zymol was bought out right by Turtle Wax 3-4 yrs ago, I haven't heard of "Fantasy" products. I have been a Zaino user for 5yrs and haven't found a better product out there. Can someone provide some feedback on "Lusso" products? I know Callaway had a kit included with the purchase of their rides.

So, what about Mothers? I have never used anything but basic Turtle Wax, but I never really cared either, until I got the Callaway. I'm trying to decide what products to use on it now and I had been thinking I would use Mothers, what do you guys think?

Zymol

That wax was the $100 wax it was made by zymol and named by the company distributing it as a custom blend for them. You will see different names for the same wax.All the other waxes never change names .

were they actually bought out? I heard they had an agreement with turtle wax to sell a lower end product (that you find in walmart or other regular parts stores). but their regular line stayed the same.

*89x2*: if you like fantasy, you would probably be blown away by one of Zymol's more expensive waxes.... and as earlier mentioned, the $100 sampler pack is the best deal. you can check that out at www.zymol.com

Turtle Wax is known to have bought out several competitors in the market. I mean who's much bigger in sales volumes throughout the USA that TW! {too mainstream for me}

How many Zaino users do we have in our Callaway section? I experimented with several lines of waxes and nothing can compete with the deep gloss, shine, and reflectability of Zaino! Although I would like to hear some feedback on "Lusso". Anyone.......

Johnny

I'm a Zaino user myself. The reflectance and deepness of the shine are phenomenal with just a minimal effort. I've found that the Zaino removes much easier than anything else that I've tried. No mess in the cracks either! The downside to my Zaino experiences is that it's a one time show and shine product. It has minimal durability for multiple washes and/or getting the car stuck out in the rain.

Thanks for the feedback - (Sherry, not out of context - I appreciate your view)
I do like the *Fantasy* wax Callaway used to have and come to think of it, I may have purchased some from Beverly Hills Motoring accys too...

At any rate, I have never used Zaino - but do use Mothers Gold *Cleaner/wax* on the Callaways with decent results and the Mothers spray detailer between shows (and a bottle at Carlisle;) )

...post on :m

YES they were purchased by TW. My buddy runs their warehouse in Bedford Park, IL and there is always plenty of Zymol to go around.:J

I've been using Zymol for quite a while. I love that coconut smell.

There are two kinds of Zymol though... The 'real' Zymol, and the turtle wax Zymol. I have used the real stuff for years... I understood Zymol and Turtle wax came to an agreement to make a low end Zymol that would be sold in regular stores.

I have seen "ZYMOL" in auto parts places like Trac Auto & Advance Auto in a bottle but the stuff in the image above (the plastic jar) has a totally different "feel" to it and "look" once applied...

I bought my Father-in-Law some of the more "liquidy" wax once and it just wasn't the same as the "Fantasy" Wax I had previously used...

Thanks for the input :m

So, let me get this straight... if I go to www.zymol.com and buy something from there (maybe the sample pack mentioned), will I be getting the REAL Zymol, or the not real Zymol? (The lower end one) And is it the same as this "Fantasy" wax used to be? I mean, in people's best guess, of course. :)

John

John you will be getting wax better that Fantasy. If I am not mistaken you get their Concours wax which sell for $180 and you get their Destiny wax which sells for $350 and you also get either Carbon Japon or Creme wax which runs about $45 I believe you get 2 ounces of each as well as car wash hd clense which is a paint clenser. a small brush a towel and some applicator pads all for $100 YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.

That is the truth... that is the best $100 I have ever spent. There are two sample packs, one for 135 (the price has gone up a bit), one for 224. The 135 one has 4 oz. containers (half of normal size). The most expensive of the waxes in the kit is normally $395 for 8 oz. so that one 4 oz. container is worth more than the price of the whole kit.

jcummings250. www.zymol.com is the REAL stuff
