LT1 to LT4

I was looking in the summit racing web page, they sell a conversion kit for a LT1 to become LT4 for +/- $3K. I'd like to know if any LT1 owner have done this and the results. It looks ....like a mid-term goal project to me!

I would check the corvetteforum.com I've seen a lot of talk over there

I did it and its a pretty good deal if you are looking for 400-425 hp. The kit DOES NOT come with everything you need and it suggest a 58 mm TB. The 58 is too big. Your 52mm is just fine with it. If I could do it all over again, I would have opted to get a 383 or a 396 instead, but I am a HP junkie. If you want more info, let me know and I can get you a list of other things your going to need. You will end up spending close to $5k after your done depending on if you do the labor or not.

ub2slow.....nice ride you got there.I agree with you on getting the 383.My mechanic always tells me the same story everytime I bring my vette in.I keep asking him to give me hints to where I can get a little extra horsepower and he keeps telling me that the best way is to turn my 350 into a 383.I don't want to touch the motor so we into a little shuffle. He once made me test drive a 383 that he built and let me tell you he almost had me signing him over a check. That grey '84 383 was full of power.I really felt the power at any RPM.Last I heard was that the owner loved it a little too much and was looking to modify the transmission due to a sudden "lead foot syndrome".....:D
