Head light knob

[Loaded 90]

The head light knob on my 90 cracked the other night. It would not turn the lights on, so I took it off and super glued the crack. It is working OK for now but would like to get another one without having to buy the whole $130 switch to get what I need which is only the knob. Does anyone know where I can get just the knob? I have already called my local Chevrolet dealer and he can't help me.

One note - I couldn't get the knob itself off of the rod. You may have to replace the entire rod, which is a bit of work. Good luck!

I think they are discontinued by GM. Some places have N.O.S. nobs and they want $24.99. I found one on e-bay for my 85 for $5. It was not listed but I found someone that was parting out a car and e-mailed them. You could also try some vette salvage yards. Good luck, Guy

What you guys are missing is that this is a 1990, not the old style dash. Mine does not have the rod. It is a turn on switch.
