Im looking to get some Headers for my L-42 1980 'vette since the stock manifolds are begining to leak. I would like to keep the sound as quiet as possible, i like the sound of the stock set up, i think it sounds nice and isnt obtrusive. What do you guys suggest are my best option in terms of sound, performance, and value, etc?

IMO, any header should do the obvious, AND stay the hell out of the way of mods and make plug wiring easy.....and be cheap enough in price....

so I found with help from Southern Speed, Jimmy Britts down the road a piece here.....Schoenfeld Headers #151
easy install, don't leak, make plug routing easy, don't interfear with my rack/pinion install....
clear the starter, and are cheap at 129 bux....150 with shipping...

OOH...they are lightweight too.....
get them aftermarket ceramic coated if you want to....I just may do that to these some day....maybe....
