Got a blown header gasket. Replacing both sides with copper gaskets. The car had hex head bolts, and I'm replacing them with allen head header bolts. I'm worried about over tightening to flush the copper gaskets. I have a Craftsmen "Clicker" torque wrench. I can't find the specs on how much torque on the header bolts? What say you? Thanks for any info.

Its a 3/8 bolt, somewhere in the range of 35Lbs should do it. Good Luck with the torque wrench,(if you can get it in there!!!!!):L

You got that right!. It was all I could do to unbolt the header. I'll tackle this in the an , and I'm curious to see how the torque wrench will fit on the end bolts! Thanks for the quick reply, drags1998!
