Headers & Dual Exhaust for a 1977.

I want to install headers and a dual exhaust system on my 1977. I have a source for the headers and I was told to buy the better copper gasgets. I want to change the single exhaust to a dual system without the cat converter. I would like to do all the work myself ( I am only a beginer with a lot of enthusiaazim), I have been told that a exhaust from a 1974 would work but would I have to cut and weld. Help me out ii is still cold in Canada but the weather will change soon. Thanks Frank 77

Contact Gus at Corvette Central, tell him that I referred you. They have got the best system for the price that I found. For $319 you get all the pipes, Magnaflow mufflers, hangers (except rear) and clamps. The sound is great (not overwhelming) and I noticed a significant increase in power. It installed in about three hours, you just need for jack stands and a jack and a few tools. Ken Scholz
