Headers & MAD true dual

I was planning on putting the MAD true dual exhaust on the vette this summer, and read somewhere on here that it is a PIA to put headers on the exhaust.

Whats the difference power wise between shorty headers and regular headers?
Which of these headers would you recomend for shorty headers?

If my dad says he would like to try putting the regular headers on (it's up to him since he will be doing most of the worh =) would these fit nicely?

If not which headers would you recomend, I don't want to pay much more than 200 bucks, otherwise I won't have enough cash.

Chris,

The shorty headers will not yield near as much horsepower as standard headers IMO. The selection you have made at Jegs should fit nicely. The only challenge really is the starter side of the engine where things do get a little tight. Order some all metal soft gaskets for the collectors, and a high end set of all metal header to head gaskets so that you don't have to do this more than once. A few extra bucks in quality gaskets will save you much time and agravation replacing leaking gaskets later on.

Thanks for the tip, but why do the longer headers give off more hp?, it makes sense becauase the bend would be smoother, but would this really add a noticable amount?
