My pass side headlight would keep running a few seconds after it went up or down.
I ordered the bushing kit from the 8t8 seller.
Parts went in great. I reinstalled the headlight. The light moves and stops nice and solid like it should... Its backwards though.
It goes up and turns off and then down and turns on. Opposite the drivers side.
When I first turned it on, I turned it on without plugging it in by mistake.
When I had it apart, I had to pull the motor shaft out, and hold the brushes back to reinstall.
I don't think I got the brush plate in upside down, hence the brushes would be reversed. The wire grommet has a flat on one side and a half moon on other side. I am thinking brushes are backwards.
Is this possible?
Any idea what I might have done now?
