I have an 89 coupe and my one headlight is not opening all the way. Sometimes it does but its getting worse. The motors are both working and there is no unwanted clicking or grinding sound I have read about. I checked for an obstruction but it was clear. The manual knob doesnt seem to open but will close. Do you think the gears are worn. If I stand outside and help the headlight door open it will usually stay open but the other door that works seems stiffer. Is there an adjustment or is the motor going? Thanks

Just put some tape on it... it will be fine.

It depends on what kind of tape.:D

I just found out the other day that they make duct tape in colors. I was really impressed. Immediately bought some black and made some repairs on my vette. Can't even see where the tape is!

That black tape on the tires' holes still allow them to hold air?

What speed is the black tape rated to? I have only used it on (static) pipe insulation.

I think the original question was answered....

I was trying to be funny. The operative word is TRYING!
Actually, I used the black tape in my interior, under the dash. That is why the tape is out of sight!
Save the Wave!
