Recently the right side headlight on my 93 would not go open all the way so I jumped to the conclusion that I had bad bushings. I removed the headlight and opened up the case to replace the bushings only to find that they were as good as new. In looking around the area of the headlight here is what I discovered.

This clip that holds the tube to the inner fender had come loose and moved down the tube. This allowed the tube to flex towards the tire.

This was just enough to allow the headlight to get caught under the clip and not rotate open.

As you can see when the clip is back in position the headlight can not get hung up on it.

So for all you in the future that have headlight problems on the right side you should look for this clip having come loose and slipped down to where it catches the headlight.:thumb

John, that was a bit easier fix than replacing the bushings. I'll have to check mine later. :w

It is a good thing you didn't have to do all that Delrin bushing mod stuff. Like Junk said, most of us could do it hanging upside down, drunk, and blindfolded. Thank goodness I now have them working perfectly and no lazy eyes. I have a buddy who is a machinist and he machined the most exquisite bushings that go in the horseshoe bracket. :upthumbs
