lights just quit opening and closing, I put them up manually and they now won't close. Any help? It would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome...

Reach up under from the front and pull down on the knuckle assembly. There is a ½ inch bolt for adjusting the close position on the knuckle just pull on it and it will unlock the joint and let them close. What year? you also have a bypass under the dash center of steering column.

Check under the steering column there is a bypass switch there make sure both sides are pushed up and colsed. The vaccum system on these cars car be challenging so hope that the bypass switch is the answer. If that doesn't work check back in there are solutions and websites to review.

I just replaced the springs that are in our headlight mechanisms. I found one laying on the floor of the garage and figured the others were on the way out, too. My question - do the headlight bucket pivots need lube? If so, what type?
