Passenger side headlight started to rotate only 3/4 of the way around so I bought a new gear and bushings, but I noticed while cleaning the car last night that it will fully rotate with the hood open. The motor does not continue to run as I've read in other posts, it just sticks during rotation with the hood closed. Could it be catching on something? or out of adjustment? I thought I would ask before I start to tear it apart. The headlight rotates fine with the manual knob and looks to be in the opening good, with even tolerences when closed. Thanks for any info in advance. Take Care, Tim :w

Give the area a good visual inspection. Something hitting hard enough to stop it will likely leave a mark

You should also take the time to clean and re lube everything which has to do with the turning of them bug eyes.
I'm just saving for after I get mama some new teeth, for a pair of flush mounts from breathless performance.

Got it! The line going to the radiator overfill resevoir had worked it's way up the stem just enough to contact headlight housing during rotation. Finally!!, something was easier than I thought it was going to be. Thanks for your replies.
