My headlights are stuck up and I have no interior dash lights. How do I fix this?

Is this something I can fix or will I have to take it to the dealer?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

I'm by no means an expert on this but I'll pitch in my 2 cents. First with the lights. If you open the hood, next to each light is a round rubber cap that says something to the effect "For Manual Operation". How you go about it from there, someone more informed canbe of better assistance than I can. I would think you insert a screwdriver and crank them up/down.

Interior lights: Check the fuse??? Not intended to be a smart remark, just a simple solution, maybe.

Thanks for your reply, I did not know how to lower my lights. The Headlight motors and interior gauge lights must be related. The fuse is a 20 amp circuit breaker....whatever that is. It is not a regular fuse. I do not know if this breaker is working or not. I was wondering if this breaker went out would it cause the problems I have?

If anyone has had this problem I would appreciate some input.

Mike,
We need more details.....when did this happen, how did it happen, anything peculiar you noticed.....that will help us in trying to determine what the problem may be.

Let us know and we will try to help.

I pulled out of my drive way, turned on my lights, they popped up, drove down the street then noticed my inside gauge lights were not working. I immediately returned home and turned my lights off. Thats when I noticed the motors on the headlights quit working as well.

They both happened at the same time.

??????? don't know where to start, may have to take into the dealer. I am going to have them check my 20amp circuit breaker, #52 in my fuse box.

Thanks for helping....
Mike
