Is there a way to put in a new headliner without taking all the halo and windshield and trim moldings out. If there is please give me a hint. Thanks ahead of time. In a '64 coupe.

Simply put, not that I know of. Its really not difficult, biggest problem I found was over the years some of the screw holes used to keep the halo molding in place has gotten larger because of removal etc. I just reblocked them with liquid metal, letting it dry for a few days re-drilled the holes to a smaller diameter then the interior machine screws (using the correct ones), and reinstalled. Remember to glue the central part, slipping the liner in one side and rear, then attach the opposite side halo and then finally the windshield trim. Takes about three to four hours, but its worth it. If you buy Al Knocks liner, no trimming was needed (at least on mine). It fit like the orginal....Good Luck.

If I understand you properly, I remove the windshield molding and one side of the halo trim and just loosen the other sides, then slip in the liner then reinstall the windshield and halo molding.

Thanks. You guys that have done it before sure help beginners like me.
