Heat/AC controls

I have a vacuum leak in the vent control manifold for heat. Will others fit the 84'? (Full size chevy or others) I don't know if the dash controls are the same fit .;help

What style A/C controller ( auto or manual)

and the control head doesn't actually do any vac routing.. another box under the dash does that for the C-68

It's a manual one. The air just comes out of the vents,no defrost or floor. If I run vacuum to the lines for the defrost or the floor they both work. There is a vacuum manifold on the slide control.

Ahhh the dreaded switch!

But back there.. is the vac line coupling as well maybe...just maybe your leaking at the line running behind the dash & not the switch!

read this... I know you have an manual ac controller but I'll bet the VAC feed line is the same!

Remember the source is off the plenum, and then down the firewall into the dash....plenty of places for a break....plus after a while that tubing gets brittle. And also the check valve is a possibility

I thought the "Hissing" was com the dash.. that's why I went that way...
