Anybody know where I can this stuff except mid america? That seems kind of expensive, but if that is it I have to get it. It has started to melt the wires a little where it is touching http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=3.896

Got any local speed shops? You might even try the larger parts stores. There are other materials available, make your own.

The only thing I see at autozone and places are the really thin heat wraps for exhaust and what not. I don't know what to use to make my own or I would.

I just picked up a set of MSD 8.5 wires this morning and will be wrapping them up before the install this weekend. I will be going with the exhaust wrap unless I find anything better. The downside is I lose the looks.

VetteFan,

I think you might be happier with the premade wrap that costs between 16-19 bucks depending on what size you need. It goes on in about 3 minutes and if you do some easy adjusting, looks just fine.

The exhaust wrap, on the other hand, will look like crap, especially if you wash the engine. It sucks up dirt and stains like a magnet.
