Question: heater fan switch

Can someone tell me whats involved in replacing the 3 speed heater fan switch on a 1986 corvette? Mine only works on high.:confused

I DON'T know capacitors and resistors, but I'm guessin' that if the circuit/switch works with max current goin' thru' it (which is what the 'High' setting is), you might have oxidation in the switch contact, or maybe in the circuit ground.

Won't be easy to find, but if you have to pull the switch, might as well check both anyway...
