1962 rebuild in progress
My engine is back from being rebuilt, 62' 327/300hp, I have a question regarding intake manifold and water pump heater hose fittings. I know the "L" fitting is installed at the top of the water pump but can anyone give input if the 1/2" curved heater hose fitting goes in the intake manifold just to the left of the thermostat housing (generator side of engine). In addition there are two outputs on the left side of the water pump I am assuming one of those has a heater hose fitting inserted and one has a plug inserted. I need input on which one has the fitting and which one has the plug. I have looked at the AIM but it is difficult to determine from the picture. Thanks for any input.

The curved heater hose fitting goes into the left side of the water pump. The other opening on the left side of hte water pump is much larger, and is for the lower radiator hose. The other heater hose goes into the manifold.

Thanks for some reason I have another threaded port on the lower portion fo the pump other than the two you note. I am going to assume I will plug. Thanks for taking the time to help me out. Appreciate you post.

Check that last post was incorrect on second input hole you are correct on the layout appreciate you information. Helps me out a bunch. Thanks
