heavy hood

my hood is heavy,thinking of changing the two little gas shocks in the front of my 84,would this make a difference?I`ve seen other guys make there own out of new longer gas shocks,

Yes it will...go to NAPA or a place like that...much much cheaper then getting them through a Corvette parts house...I think they are like 5-10 bucks
