Hi, my name is Joe, and I am a first time Vette purchaser. I have a deposit down with Dave Smith Motors in Kellog, ID for a 2015 C7. Put the deposit down Nov 2013, and they're telling me finalize order in Aug for Oct Delivery. Long time to wait.

My biggest concern is all the "problem threads" on other corvette c7 forums. Seems like massive electrical and fit or finish issues. Since I never buy version 1.0 of anything, I hope waiting until 2015 will work.

Don't let all the "problem threads" cause you too much concern. People with problems are 10-times (maybe more) more likely to post on a forum than people that are happy with their cars. It kink of skews the data a little.

Welcome to the CAC! Yes first year GM cars of about any model are a problem because GM let's you be the R & D department then they take your complaints and fix the second year cars. Good luck and enjoy your new car!

and we are certainly glad you've joined us! The waiting on a new Corvette would be tough but half the fun of buying one is "the hunt" it will be here before you know it You will never be the same again and that that will appear will be permanent!
