I was just on the Helm's website looking for a service manual supplement for my 1991 and had no luck. They sell the manuals as a complete set, listing as:

1. ST36491 - Manual
2. ST36491SB - 1991 Corvette Supplement
3. ST36491ECM - 1991 Corvette Electrical Diagram Manual

I spoke with one of the customer service reps, and he said they couldn't break up the set; I have items #1 & #3 listed above, but am looking for the ST36491SB Supplement; does anyone have one laying around that they are interested in selling, or know of another source that would be able to sell each of these individually, and not only as a complete set?

Thanks, Chris.

I picked up #1 and #2 for my '90 from two different people on E-bay. I'm still looking for number 3, which I really need. Might have to break down and get the whole set. I'm not sure about the '91 but the '90 set has one Red cover manual (the real one ... errors and all), a White cover manual (a preliminary manual due to the changes from '89 to '90 ... ECM ect.), and the Red cover Electrical Supplement. The real PITA is you almost need both the Red and White books as they both have errors. When I go to do something I always read thru both books then leave them inside while I go work on the car. You kinda learn to purge the errors from memory.

Too bad we don't have the same model year. We could have worked something out.

Hrtbeat, is your white manual less than 1/4 in thick?. I have all three the main manual the electrical and the supplement. I think the electrical may be the most important of the three.

To bad the electrical isn't loose leaf, I could take it to work and have them run it through the copy machine.

No its actually thicker than the Red Book. The Cover looks like the Red book but its in black lettering "1990 Corvette Service Manual" "To Be Replaced By ST-364-90" in the lower right hand corner is the pub number "ST-364-90PSID"

Try Ebay I have bought two manuals there, both at good prices; the C5 is 4 books and I paid $50 + shipping :D

I ordered mine new a couple months ago. What I have is the 1990 sevice manual ST-364-90 section 8A electical Diagnosis service manual supplement ST-364-90 EDM and the 1990 Dealer service manual update bulletin supplement ST-364-90SB seems to be a bit diff. If yours are older could mine be an updated set ?

I think I'm gonna have to order the set. My white book supposedly came from a liquidation of a dealership in FL. There are grease prints on the cover so this may have been a early true "shop manual."

Thats the thing about the ones I've got ... no section 8A.

Does anyone have the Helm's website address? Somehow, I couldn't find it on Google, and I need a service manual and electrical supplement for my '89. All the Corvette catalogs sell reproductions of the Service Manual, but it is not bound up and a big pain to use. Ebay is a so-so source for used ones, I have found.

Thanks,
